ShalomFest '26 Activities
There will be traditional Jewish folk dancing performed by the Charlotte Israeli Dancers.  The Temple of Israel choir will sing Jewish Folk and Pop Music, and the ShalomFest Interfaith Choir will perform "Give my Regards to Jewish Broadway, Part II" featuring songs from a variety of great shows - from Hello Dolly to Wicked - by well-known Jewish composer-lyricists.

You can watch the Greenville Jewish Film Festival's presentation of "Fiddler on the Moon: Judaism in Space", a short film that investigates the mystery that has plagued scientists, theologians, and comedians for millennia: Will Judaism survive in space? The film provides answers from Neil deGrasse Tyson, astronauts Jeffrey Hoffman and Jessica Meir, and a quorum of rabbis and researchers.

There will be exhibits about Jewish history and culture, and a torah scroll will be on display.

And an event like this would not be Jewish without delicious food:  There will be pastries - macaroons, hamantaschen, rugelach, strudel, chocolate matzo toffee, and black & white cookies - homemade by members of our congregation and available for sale. Books and giftable items will also be available for purchase.
OOPS! OOPS!
